Gareth Irvin has offered to support Willington Community Action by completing a sponsored walk along the length of Hadrian Wall (84miles in 3 days).

Willington Community Action Centre is important to the community as it is the first stop for anyone with an question to ask,or with an issue or problem, staff assist users in accessing services, offer support, encourage training and education to be brought into the community. The center has a comfortable seating are which is used by residents who just want to relax and have a coffee,organisations who set up a promotional display or to meet with clients.

The monies raised will allow us to continue to operate our Centre which offers support in a variety of ways to our local community. The center also provides the community with free internet access which has proven popular with all ages, for homework and holiday sessions,for job searches and online applications, socialising and keeping in touch with family living away
