Earlier this year, Mr Mark Windeatt and I started Summer by completing an Ultra Marathon travelling from Richmond, West of London, all the way down to Brighton on nothing but our blister covered feet.
On the 27th September we will close the Summer out by joining a team of Experian employees aiming to cycle from London to Brussels. I've been to Brussels before, by plane, and I thought it was a bit rubbish so cycling all the way there doesn't present me with a whole lot of excitement to be honest.
It's going to take 3 days, including ferry rides, border crossings, the long way up the coast of Northern France (I think) and will cover around 250 miles of cycling in all.
As a group we're seeking to raise money for the Heart of Experian. The Heart of Experian Charity Fund was set up to help small groups and organisations who need our support in tough financial times. We admire these smaller groups for their passion and determination to make a difference and by providing some investment hope to make a difference to them. This charity has been set up so that there are no management fees and funds are distributed every quarter to approximately five local community groups.
Please help me to raise a minimum of £250.00. Once achieved, Experian will match the £250.00 raised.
What your gift could provide:
- £10 a fundraising uniform for a vulnerable woman at Betel UK
- £30 seeds to grow fresh fruit and veg for 25 families
- £100 Fishing therapy & mentoring weekends for troubled young folk
Many thanks for your support.
