On 30th April I will be running/plodding the Hackney Half Marathon to raise money for Gendered Intelligence, where I have volunteered since 2014.
Gendered Intelligence (GI) is a not-for profit, community interest group, particularly focused on supporting young trans people under 21. GI host youth groups, deliver mentoring to students who need a bit of extra support at school / uni and train professionals in gender diversity and awareness.
Every summer for the past 6 years, Gendered Intelligence have taken two groups of trans youth on a 3 night camping trip. The trip is truly special as it offers GI youth a trans inclusive, supportive and non-judgemental environment to have lots of fun and just enjoy being young.
The trip is paid for from money raised through fundraising events, like this one.
It costs £345 to take one young person camping. Please help me reach this target.
All donations, no matter how small are greatly appreciated.
