Thanks to the Community Fund we have received £8214 to deliver a 12 month project combining digital technology and in-person sessions to get people active. Being connected is increasingly important in a technologically integrated society. Our project will provide people with the means to participate in online exercise classes and learn IT skills in groups and at home so they can access resources and information through their digital device. Sessions will be weekly in locations in the heart of communities making them easily accessible. The aim of our project is to encourage people to be active and engaged with their local community to reduce the extent to which people can become isolated through not having access to technology or recreational opportunities locally.
