Every accomplishment begins with the decision to try....
I am not a runner but I have decided to become a keen runner. I am taking part in the Leeds 10K charity race event on Sunday 12th July.
Gian is learning to run and he makes it enjoyable by running in different directions with a big smile on his face. Gian is running the Leeds Mini Run at Clarence dock on Saturday 11th July.
We are raising funds for Sunshine & Smiles - Leeds Down Syndrome Network.
The charity is a support network for children and young people who have Down Syndrome and their families in Leeds.
I am pleased to be part of the charity and continue to support the services it provides.
We run groups for children aged 0-3, 4-9 and 9+.
We provide Speech & Language Therapy sessions.
We have family group sessions, activities, days out and events.
We provide Individual Support, advice and resources.
We deliver training, raise awareness, shift attitudes & share our personal experiences with health and education professionals.
Please donate what funds you can to help sustain the work Sunshine & Smiles do and to build confidence and self-esteem amongst young people who have a learning disability.
