This Christmas season, as we gather with loved ones and reflect on our blessings, we invite you to join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most. Instead of traditional gift-giving, consider the gift of giving back. Your donations will provide critical support for the homeless, individuals facing mental health challenges, and other vulnerable people in our community. This year, Kingfisher Treasure Seekers will also be a SWEP (Severe Weather Emergency Protocol) provision, offering a safe place for up to 12 pre-approved individuals who cannot safely remain outdoors during severe cold conditions. Together, we can bring warmth, hope, and care to those who need it most.
Here’s how your donation can help:
£5 sponsors a comfier night through our SWEP service, covering a hot meal, earplugs, and an eye mask.
£10 buys a meal for someone experiencing homelessness this winter.
£15 buys a blanket to give to someone sleeping rough.
£30 funds an hour of mental health support at one of our drop-in sessions.
£50 provides a winter coat to someone without shelter.
£100 helps keep our kitchen equipment running for a week, allowing us to serve 'pay it forward' meals at our community coffee shop.
£150 supports job training and skills development for a vulnerable adult.
Additionally, we’re grateful for donations of blankets, earplugs, sleep masks, and contributions to our pay-it-forward meal scheme to ensure warmth and comfort for those in need. This service will operate on nights when temperatures drop to -3°C or below, giving us approximately 24 hours' notice. Together, we can make this holiday season warmer and safer for everyone in our community.
Thank you for your kindness and support. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference.
