I am taking part in The Great North Run on September 11th 2016 to raise funds and awareness for ESCAPE Family Support.
It is widely recognised that an individual’s drug or alcohol use affects their family, carers and wider social networks. Concerned others can play an instrumental role in encouraging a substance misuser into accessing treatment as well as requiring support in their own right.
ESCAPE offer a range of services to support individuals and their family. Staff and volunteers work county-wide across Northumberland with anybody affected by drugs and alcohol, including those dependant on the substance and their family. Our services include such things as:
•Counselling
•Group work
•Creative sessions
•Education
