Surbiton Farmers' Market is holding a sponsored walk to raise money for Refugee Action Kingston!
Refugee Action Kingston is a local and independent registered charity, providing advice and support to more than 1800 refugees, asylum seekers and their families, living, working or studying in the Royal Borough of Kingston and surrounding areas in South West London. RAK is the only organisation dedicated to supporting refugees and asylum seekers in Kingston and surrounding boroughs, and offers advice and advocacy on a wide range of issues, as well as offering the development opportunities required to move lives forward positively. All services are free of charge.
The 7.35 mile walk will be held in Richmond Park on Sunday 18th September and will start at 11.00am from the Kingston Gate car park. There is a free giant inflatable banana for kids and a picnic along the way, so why not gather up the family, pack some food and drink, and go bananas raising money for a great local charity?
If you would like to take part, entry is £2 and you can pick up sponsorship forms from the Organisers' Stall or Shoes at Last on Maple Road, Surbiton. Please contact info@surbitonfarmersmarket.co.uk with any additional queries.
