About

My daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 12 ( now 17 ) our world was turned upside down until we learned how to deal with all the highs and lows and quickly realising every day is different some days more challenging than others.
This group Type 1 kidz helps to  support the child and their family not only to come to terms with their diagnosis but they also plan and deliver activities for children who have this challenging condition giving them the opportunity to experience things that they often get discriminated from due to their complex needs this group helps to boost their self esteem makes them feel more positive about their future.
