So this year I’m going to be participating in the GNR to raise money for Type 1 Kidz ! My little sister was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when she was 12 , it hasn’t been easy for her there’s been alot of ups and alot of downs with everyday proving to be a new difficult challenge for her.
This group Type 1 kidz helps to support the child and their family not only to come to terms with their diagnosis but they also plan and deliver activities for children who have this challenging condition giving them the opportunity to experience things that they often get discriminated from due to their complex needs this group helps to boost their self esteem makes them feel more positive about their future.
