I'm Brian Warren and on Sunday 27th October I am going to take part in the Great South Run. This is going to be a great achievement for me and by doing this I want to raise as much money as I can for a fantastic organisation called Rainbows Club. Rainbows club was originally set up for parents and their families with children with Down Syndrome. It has now expanded to children with any disability and provides priceless support to the families involved.

My nephew Ben has Down's Syndrome and I have seen first hand just how much Rainbows has meant to them as a family. Bringing up a child with Down's is wonderful but comes with many difficulties in every day to day life. Having a support group to share concerns and advise is invaluable to any parent, Rainbows not only offers this, but gives the families practical support such as learning sign language and many other necessary skills. Much needed day trips & regular play/sport days for them all :)

By raising as much money as I can Rainbows will be able to continue to offer their support to the parents and their children. Hopefully we can raise enough for the children to go on a day trip or perhaps a Christmas party. However much we raise it will be invaluable to this organisation and will be much appreciated by each and everyone.
