2016 is an exciting year for the paediatric department in Bradford. Building works have commenced and are well under way to complete the new paediatric wards. These are purpose built and designed to greatly enhance the experience children and their families will have whilst staying in the hospital.
All of us working in Bradford want to make children's time on the wards as comfortable as possible . This involves providing a range of facilities for families such as sensory rooms, games consoles, and comfortable beds for parents.
We have been extremely grateful to the Lord Mayor for supporting this in her Appeal this year and are looking forward to particpating in the Dragon Boat Race as part of this appeal.
5 teams from the paediatric department in Bradford are participating and gearing up to compete side by side. Our competitive nautre is being revealed!
