In case you didn't get all the information you needed from the page name, here's a bit more background:
I'm running to raise money for KEEN London, London's only charity providing one-to-one support at free sports and activity sessions for children with additional needs or disabilities.
Unfortunately a hip injury means I won't be running the Hackney Half Marathon. The new plan is to recover in time for the 24km Trail des Maures on the 2nd June, and to follow up with the 27km Maverick Inov-8 X-Trail Peaks on the 13th July.
While my day job involves dealing with the business end of sport, volunteering with KEEN has shown me how immediate and striking an impact regular physical activity can have on confidence, social skills and so much more (for the athletes and for me!)
KEEN is a small charity; money raised goes directly to improving the services offered, from new equipment to specialist trainers at sessions. Any contributions will make a big difference and will be hugely appreciated.
