FareShare Yorkshire supports vital frontline organisations with surplus food
They redistribute in-date surplus food from companies to vital frontline provisions who support an average of 32,000 vulnerable, isolated and disadvantaged people each week as of October 2020.
This reduces the amount of good food going to landfill and saves charities money which they can reinvest in crucial services like the provision of shelter or advice.
Partners use the food FareShare Yorkshire provide to feed the homeless, those at risk of becoming homeless, women and children fleeing domestic violence, those suffering with mental and physical conditions, people in alcohol and drug recovery and other vulnerable groups.
