Hi! Myself, Trudi Beatt (doggy styles, Coldingham) ,Claire Fife (wot a clip,scremerston) and Angie Donoghue (Angie's pawfectly groomed, chirnside) are trying to raise £2000 to buy Berwick animal rescue kennels professional grooming equipment. We give up our spare time to pick kennel dogs up and take them to our grooming salons to be pampered. Whilst we love doing this for the pups the journey to and from the salons can be rather stressful for these dogs, some have never even been in car before. We feel that being able to groom them, to a professional standard, on site would be the best option all round. Running busy salons it's sometimes hard to find the time to groom the dogs as we are all situated quite a few miles from the kennels, being able to do it at the kennels will take less time and be much less stressful for the dogs, some of which badly need groomed ASAP.
If you could spare a few pounds to help us help the dogs, waiting on their forever homes, we would be very grateful.
