Investment in the erection of floodlights enabling the clubs senior teams to be able to play mid week games. This also enables our club to introduce a youth team (under 18s) to be able to play in the Midland Floodlight Youth League as further development and preparation before progressing into senior football. In addition to floodlights being erected, improvements are being made to spectator facilities to provide a better match day or other social experience.

This is an important project that will not only benefit the local community but also benefit interested players and spectators across the city. The improvements will provide greater opportunities for young people who want to participate and further develop their sporting skills using what will be some of the best facilities in the city. For spectators who like to watch sport, they will be able to enjoy better facilities to make their experience more pleasurable.

Once all ground improvements have been completed, all effort and attention will be focussed on our quality of football. This will include improving and developing our home grown young players in the youth team and reserve team. The intention is to provide loyalty towards our home grown club players and see their timely introduction into the first team as appropriate. During this time also, our first team squad will continue to drive for success by playing clean attractive football.
