Improved Drainage and Ground Maintenance at York RI, New Lane to help us through the winter months and help junior and senior sections play sport outdoors at our community football club. This year has been particularly bad with waterlogged pitches and we have had to hire facilities elsewhere at additional cost.

We had to cancel and postpone a lot of matches this season due to flooded and waterlogged pitches. We need to improve drainage on our pitches to stop this happening every season and enable our community club to continue through winter.

Improved drainage on pitches meaning that we can play for a longer period throughout the year, with reduced costs for hiring pitches elsewhere, reduced backup of fixtures and improved availability of sport facilities for our Holgate community.
