About the Vine Centre
The Vine Centre (TVC) exists to help change the lives of the disadvantaged in our community.
We offer twenty frontline services as part of our Journey Programme leading toward responsible and independent living. Services provide users/clients with appropriately practical, life-skill, training, volunteering and support into employment. We meet their immediate physical needs with a nutritious hot meal, laundry services, clothing, emergency food parcels and housing and benefit support, and working with each homeless client / vulnerably housed to secure accommodation.
Our impact on the community
During 201/15; 462 : Clients of which 361 were Male : 55-65% - Mental Health need, 2,804 : Meals served including Volunteers & Nightshelter, 1,433 : 1:1 Client Support sessions, 11.5 : Times : Client engage with services, 122 : Presented as Street Homeless, 97 : Clients volunteered, 538 : Weekly Job Club, 1,446 : Attendances - JOURNEY SERVICES, 239 : Creative Arts - September '14 - March '15.
