An allotment built by the local Gurkha community in Eltham went up in smoke after a fire burnt the whole thing down.
London Fire Brigade were called to a fire at the Middle Park allotments, at 5.20pm October 31
A 20 by 10 feet Summer House, just inside the entrance, built by the Gurkha Women, went up in flames.
Tony Grayson wrote on Facebook: “I drove past just before the fire brigade arrived, the heat that came from it was crazy. I had windows up the whole car went hot.”
