On Saturday 28th September 2019, five amazing children are walking a half marathon (13 miles) around Bewl water. Connor (9), Ruby (9), Huxley (7), Frankie (7) and Sophie (7) will be walking to raise money for the Special Educational Needs Department at their school - Leigh Primary School. Walking a half marathon is a great achievement at any age but it is particularly impressive when you are under 10 years old!
Many children require additional support at school for a range of reasons and for varying lengths of time. This additional support is invaluable to many children and is vital to enabling children to reach their full potential.
Please support Connor, Ruby, Huxley, Frankie and Sophie as they undertake their huge challenge and raise money for such an important cause.
THEY DID IT!! :) and in just 4hrs and 40mins..... that is over an hour quicker than the official taking time! They were simply outstanding.
