We are running the Liverpool Rock n Roll Half Marathon on 28th May and we'd love your support in helping us raise some money for local mental health charity Visyon!
Visyon is a charity committed to improving young people’s emotional well-being to enable them to live happier, more fulfilling lives, to build stronger relationships and to be able to cope with life’s stresses. They provide support for children experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, bullying, anger, phobias and identity issues. Their model is based on a philosophy of early intervention: if a young person gets support with their mental health when they first show signs of needing it, their emotional issues needn't grow into shadows that hang over their lives. That's why their service is so essential, and there is no comparable organisation in Cheshire which offers this early intervention support. Visyon believes that a child or young person shouldn't have to wait until they feel that they can't go on before they are offered help, and they receive over 1500 referrals per year and offer over 5000 therapeutic sessions across Cheshire.
