Team Fundraisers
My name is Brian Leach and I have been supporting the Tilehurst Junior Youth Club for over Eleven years now as a volunteer on Friday nights. The club supports children in the local community on friday nights with an attendance of 40 plus children each week. The age group of the children ranges between 7 - 11 which is very challenging but very rewarding.
We plan activities such as healthy eating, sports games, pool, disco, talent shows etc etc the kids absolutely love it.
With the great help from Club volunteers Kim and Lucy and lovely friends from my work Rachael, Richard,Tom and Brea plus my brother Gary we are going to run the Reading Half Marathon to raise some much needed funds to aid the club to keep going with its running costs, we are a non profit organization and raise monies such as bag packing at local supermarket and holding fundraising events.
We are completely self sustaining, which is hard at the best of times.
Please help us raise as much money as we can to keep this great club going.
