Halton Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise is proud to be participating in the Annual Liverpool Santa Dash on 3rd December, with the fitter members of the team running on behalf of Community Interest Company and Chamber member, Hack Back CIC. This is an extremely worthy cause, as Hack Back CIC does fabulous work using Birds of Prey to deliver focused therapy support across the borough of Halton. Through interactions with their birds of prey and the work of qualified psychologists, Hack Back support all age groups helping many, potentially vulnerable people achieve their full potential. That’s why we are supporting Murray! Murray is a Burrowing Owl and an important member of the Hack Back team. As you can see, he is probably the smallest of the birds Hack Back work with and responsible for “tweets” on Twitter (although he does think they should be hoots!). Murray was trained by Anita, the founder of Hack Back, to fly happily in many different environments, including hospital wards and to wheel chair users. We would like to help Murry and Anita by raising some funding, so they can continue with their fantastic work, as Hack Back CIC is a small, charitable organisation working hard to raise awareness of environmental issues whilst also supporting our community. Everyone at Halton Chamber of Commerce is backing Kieran, Jemma and Joy, who are currently in training and will be running their little feet off for this worthy cause so please give generously and help us soar to our donation target. All donations are most gratefully received. Thank you
