I go again!! This time I have chosen to take on an event I haven't done before tough mudder its all in the name. 12 mile obstacle course to complete to raise money here's why! I met angie 5 years ago due to her being my daughters support worker she has been the person who has helped me through a lot she has been my absolute rock and made me the person I am today. everything angie does she does with passion and love and I for one am grateful to have such an amazing person in my life I could never thank her enough so if their is anything I could give back it would be to help her with her charity and I hope you all will too. Charlottes Brightside continues to engage children and young people well with the figures for attendance consistently good. The feedback from parents is positive and they state that their children and young people develop well at Brightside with improved confidence and self-esteem. During the last quarter Brightside staff and volunteers have continued to provide meaningful activities and there is now a good planning and evaluation system of recording in place, with more consistency this will improve the visible impact of the work Brightside does so well. Brightside was developed in memory of Charlotte Churchill, who tragically died in a car accident. Charlotte worked with children and believed all children and young people should be entitled to experiences which will help influence their lives. The last quarter has been a challenge in looking for and securing funding through grant applications and fundraising events, this will continue to be a challenge and the trustees and committee must keep striving for unique ideas to develop our success in securing funding. Let's do this!!
