The Harbour Project runs the Swindon half marathon

Claire, Emma, Jo, Helen, Kardo, Omar and Ezzadine are running the Swindon a half Marathon on 3rd September 2017 to raise money for the Harbour Project. We are training together and are hopeful for some super-fast times from our visitors and maybe a pb or two from our volunteers. The Harbour Project is a small charity based in Swindon that supports refugees and asylum seekers in the town. The Harbour provides a warm welcome to visitors from around the world, with a daily drop-in centre, help and advice, English classes, and much much more besides. Most importantly, it is about making friends and finding out what we have in common, not what sets us apart. Our newly formed running team have running in common, with a shared goal of making a big impact on the Swindon Half Marathon this September. And of course, we are also raising much needed and most valued funds to help keep the Harbour alive and thriving along the way.
