Daniel and I are running the Hastings half marathon on 22nd March - we're trying to raise awareness and money for The Snowflake Trust which operates a winter night shelter for genuinely homeless people in Hastings & St Leonards.
Initially we were just running for fun, then our mum asked us to run it for Snowflake. Having looked in to it I'm glad we are, they provide a great service for a very local and national problem. Please dig deep and support this great cause.
Snowflake Trust provide supervised overnight accommodation to homeless people who would otherwise be sleeping rough in Hastings and St Leonards during the extreme winter months (27 November 2014 to end-February 2015 inclusive, and into March 2015 if the weather dictates). Our Guests are referred to us via local organisations, primarily the Seaview Project and the St John Ambulance Homeless Service.
