Bath Half Marathon 2018

It is with great regret that I am running the Bath Half Marathon 2018. I ran the Bath Half previously in 2015 and hated every single second of it. I have decided to give it another go as....why not :) Also I will be running the 13.1 miles with some lovely folks that have made training much more fun, which is my main reason for returning to this challenge. I have got to run regular with some amazing adults that we have had the pleasure of meeting over the last year. I will be raising money for Sporting Family Change who I am lucky enough to work for. My fellow team members and myself work in schools (primary and secondary) providing mentoring to students that struggle and use sport as a way to engage with them. We make gym sessions accessible to all adults of all abilities and attendees include parent carers and vicitms of domestic violence. We also create social opportunities for young adults with learning difficulties and our main aim is to make everything we do inclusive to people from all walks of life. Exercise and sport is a great way to empower people and I get to witness the impact first hand.
