Heather Runs a Marathon

After lockdown started I decided to start running and since April 2020 I've stuck to it and I’m running the Manchester Marathon in October! Running helped me through some pretty crappy times so I wanna be able to use it to give something back! Running a marathon is super hard, like its really far. And I have to train a lot. So please sponsor me.

SayIt are a local LGBT+ charity supporting and empowering young LGBT+ people and those affected by HIV. As a queer person the work that SayIt are doing is inspiring and I would love to be able to help them support more people in the community, especially at a time where transphobia and homophobia is still common. Many young LGBT+ people experience abuse at home or struggle to access medical help they may require due to their sexuality and the only way to build a better future for the queer community is to help young people be able to celebrate who they are.
