Hi I'm raising money for the local community, will you support me?
This year will be the 36th time Huntingdon Lions Club has held its Annual Safari walk, a sponsored walk around Grafham Water. They have teamed up with Macmillan Cancer Support to help raise the £1.2million for the extension of the Woodlands Centre at Hinchingbrooke Hospital.
10% of everything I raise will therefore be going to this great cause to bring Macmillan Cancer Support to our local hospital.
The other 90% will be for a much smaller, local charity, Cornerstone Care in Confidence who also support Hinchingbrooke Hospital. Teams of volunteers counsel women facing an unplanned pregnancy each and every week at the hospital and in the Cornerstone Centre in Huntingdon.
