Music in hospitals is such an important charity. When my grandma was in her later years she suffered with dementia and Alzheimer's. I'll never forget how responsive she was to her favourite songs even when she was on palliative care and unreceptive to much else. But Music doesn't just help the elderly who are ill, it helps all age groups. Music speaks to the soul, can offer light relief, it's uplifting and provides escapism from what can be a cruel and painful reality. As arts budgets continue to be cut it is important that we make sure that music in hospitals isn't. Please help me raise some money for this wonderful cause.
