Hello everybody
Highway Adventures has a big announcement to share with you all
We have a passion for the outdoors and supporting our local community. So we have a decided upon another challenge to raise money for a local mental health charity called Mid and North Powys Mind The challenge is a bike ride from the top of Wales to the bottom. This is roughly 210 miles. We will also have space for others to participate, we are hoping to have another 6 people join Toby and John on this challenge.
We wanted to find a challenge that would be physically difficult as well as mentally tough. The reason for this is that life is tough, but its amazing what we can achieve when we work together and support our community.
We chose Mind charity, because mental health is something most people struggle with at some point in their life. We also want to raise awareness for the charity so more people know its there, and can see some of the amazing stuff they do.
During the build up to this challenge we are planning on doing some different events along the way. This is so anyone that wants to be involved can be.
So keep your eyes on the Highway Adventures page for upcoming events. Also if you want to be involved in any way let us know we will take down your name. This can be with the planning, logistics, ideas, challenges, events etc. We want as many people as possible!
Lastly we urge anyone who might be struggling to reach out and talk to someone, you aren't alone
