Hilary's Marathon Challenge for Project Ability
On 28 August 2016, I'll be running the Glasgow Clyde Marathon to raise funds for Project Ability. It's my first marathon I'm just a little bit petrified. I love running but this by far my biggest challenge yet! Please sponsor me and help this fantastic organisation to continue its vital and important work in the community. Project Ability is a Glasgow-based visual arts organisation which creates opportunities for people with disabilities and people with mental health issues aged 5 years to 80 plus to express themselves and achieve their artistic potential. Project Ability works in partnership with people with disabilities and their support agencies across the UK and develops local and national arts projects, creating opportunities for people to network, share their practice and exhibit their work. Over three hundred people each week take part in Project Ability's year round programme of workshops, events, training and exhibitions.
Well done Hilary! I'm full of admiration!
