Help 'eXtRa sPeCiAl' kids with complex learning difficulties like Autism
Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affects how a person communicates with, and relates to, other people and the world around them. It is a spectrum condition, which means that, while all people with autism share certain areas of difficulty, their condition will affect them in different ways. Asperger syndrome is a form of autism.
Redway school is a special school that provides for pupils with severe and with profound and multiple learning difficulties. About a quarter of pupils, mainly in the primary age range, have additional complex learning difficulties such as autism. The school is maintained by Milton Keynes LA (Local Authority) catering for children between the ages of 2 – 19 with a wide range of learning difficulties.
Any donation you are able to make will be gratefully received and go to help Redway School to continue to support all special kids.
