I've signed up to a boxing match being held on 1st December - Charity Fight Nation 6.
3 rounds of 2 minutes of being punched in the face.
I'm not a fighty person. I have baby T-Rex arms. I normally try to diffuse conflict through grinning and talking.... I'm not sure that approach will work this time.
If you're not able to come and watch the show then I would really appreciate any donations to encourage me that being beaten up is genuinely worth it.
The nominated local charity for CFN6 is Tonic Music for Mental Health who are based in Portsmouth. Tonic raises awareness and challenges the stigma often associated with mental illness through music interaction/lessons and art based events. I have personally seen how partaking or engaging with music can be therapeutic for people with metal health problems, and believe in the benefits the charity provides for people in the local community.
