Some of us haven’t stretched our legs since the turn of the century. Others break into a sweat at the mere thought of a leisurely jog. Then there are those of us who have 999 on speed dial as part of our training programme.
A dream team of staff and volunteers have been eating, sleeping, and having very vivid nightmares about the challenge of the relay in this year’s Belfast City Marathon.
Momentary lapses of procrastination aside, we’re rising to the occasion, with some of us looking to be in the best shape of our lives in order to face this daunting task.
We’re willing to risk it all because we believe in the work of the Human Rights Consortium.
Our work involves campaigning for a local Bill of Rights; defence & promotion of the Human Rights Act; & promoting International Human Rights Standards and other activities.
With a membership group of almost 200, we work towards a human rights based society.
We’re grateful for any donations that can be given to aid and sustain the work that we do.
Thank you to all who donate in advance, and we’ll (hopefully) see you on the other side!
