I will be cycling 100 km round London through the night on 6th/7th June to raise money for the Bike Safe charity which is campaigning for a cycle and pedestrian path along the B4044 in Oxford. This road links Oxford to Eynsham and passes the Hill End Outdoor Centre and the Sailing Club at Farmoor. It is a narrow, fast B road with no pavement and is far too dangerous to walk or cycle on. An off-road cycle path would bring huge benefits by enabling people to get to work, school and leisure facilities without their cars.
