This is a fun open day for at all local residents, business and associated partners in Alumwell area of Walsall, sponsored by Fair Share Trust and Walsall Housing Group. We will be fundraising through a Balloon Race competition, whereby entrants will be encouraged to buy a balloon, which has a numbered ticket attached. The balloons are then released and the buyer of the balloon that travels the furthest and has its ticket returned to the BBCCF is the prize winner.

This will enable us to kick start our Asset Based Community Development (ABCD)in the area and our Cash 4 Grant Award Scheme, which provides match fund resources in exchange for volunteer commitment on a community project. This will help local residents in the area connect with each other to bring about change and improve the area. We have joined with local partners such as Walsall Voluntary Action, Alumwell Neighbourhood Watch and Alumwell Community Action Group to lead on this campaign.
