I have decided it’s time to embrace the fabulous Manchester Marathon, along with a group of brilliant Riff Raffian ladies!
We will be dressing as Wonder Women for the 26.2 mile race as a salute to Hayley Saunders who is the real Wonder Woman. She is coming through two devastating years of personal tragedy. Her partner Rob, tragically passed away unexpectedly from heart failure shortly before Hayley herself was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer.
The funds raised by The Riff Raff Society will help Hayley take her two children on a much deserved holiday to Lapland. They have been helping their mum through her cancer treatment in addition to dealing with their grief.
Her story has inspired me to do this. It will be a pleasure to be a part of it!
