I am running the MK Marathon on the 5th May 2014. Having never done one before it is a massive personal challenge but wanted to do it for a good friend whose little boy goes to The Redway School 'an extra special school' in Milton Keynes. Having visited the school the staff do an amazing job with disabilities of all types. The little boy I know is only 4 but an amazing child. He was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at a young age but with great support from his family, friends and the school has really developed into a lovely little boy. The school does get government funding but only like a 'normal' school. The school require specialist equipment to make the children's time at the school more enjoyable. The school does have a website www.theredway.net.
