Only two things in my life have prompted me to complete a physical challenge.
The first was when I lost a very good friend at an early age and I completed the Manchester 10k run for an MS charity in his memory.
The second is on behalf of Baby Hayley Norman and this time it's going to be a marathon distance at a strong walking pace.
Any cash pledged by you will go to The Riff Raff Society who are a small local direct giving charity that have agreed to fund Baby Hayley Norman's educational and respite needs over the coming months.
Hayley is the daughter of Emma Norman who is a former work colleague of mine at Virgin Trains Hayley has just been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy after a year of slow physical movement progression as a baby. Emma has had to take a career break to help Hayleys progress.
