In memory of Nick Nuttgens, our dear friend, who died in hospital on the 6 January after living with cancer for five years with extraordinary bravery and determination.
Nick gave so much to the world in so many different ways. Perhaps the greatest was his devoted, loving and supportive friendship to his many friends both local and distant, and to his god children and his nephews and nieces. Nick was dedicated to enabling creativity and awareness and engagement with the world, especially of young people. He changed the lives of so many people who participated in the Crucible Youth Theatre, and he led the development of creative teaching and learning throughout the schools in Sheffield. He made a massive contribution to the movement against climate catastrophe in Sheffield. His mission was always better communication both personal and political. Across his work, he collaborated with so many people whom he loved and who loved him.
We are fundraising for South Yorkshire Climate Alliance, and its work on climate communications, of which Nick was a huge supporter.
In loving memory of a very special person and wonderful friend. David and Uschi
For all the years of your love, support, inspiration and guidance we will always remember you, Nick. With deepest gratitude, the Quint family
