We were very lucky to meet Mike Kingham through Kingston Rotary. He was a non stop bundle of energy who was incredibly generous, always working hard to support those in his community and beyond. His never ending creativity for raising money was awe inspiring, from Unicorn Races to Dragon boats and everything in between! His laughter and enthusiasm was instantly infectious. Not only would he find ways to support Yorda through Kingston Rotary but he would also come to the Playhouse and provide plants giving up his time with his friend Janet to look after our planters and to top it all off would also bring us doughnuts for us all when he came to visit! This is why we called him the Yorda Fairy God Father - sprinkling joy wherever he went.We are forever grateful for the care, love and support he gave to so many. We are therefore very honoured that his family have chosen Yorda as the beneficiaries of his in memory donations.He will be very sorely missed. Sleep Well Mike - you deserve all that rest x
