
The Project will focus on helping disengaged women from BME and New Communities in Coventry make significant steps towards helping them fulfil their work-related ambitions. The project will provide support in areas such as: Increasing Confidence and Self-Esteem Communication, Presentation and Interview skills Team working and Peer Support
Why they need our serviceOur project is based on needs identified by CEMAP and by regional and national research which provides evidence that women from the BME communities face multiple barriers into employment and related activities. In order to address these issues the women affected require an empowering model of support.
Plan and expected resultsThis project will increase the life skills and confidence for women from BME & New Communities. It will provide them with the requisite skills, knowledge and experience and increase their chances of gaining volunteering and employment opportunities.
