Why they need our serviceThe restoration of this waterway involves historical research to identify 'lost' structures. Old photographs of the former Wherry Public House show a quay heading alongside the pub's garden. This has rotted away as the canal is de-watered on this section and needs to be replaced before water is returned to this section to protect the bank from erosion.
Plan and expected resultsRestoration to reflect the original view of the old pub garden and protection from erosion when canal is re-watered.
