Hello and thanks for visiting my Localgiving page! I have taken the gigantic challenge of cycling 219 miles from Bristol to France in 5 days to raise money for charity. I have teamed up with Cycle for Change Collective which is a small group of friends and amateur cyclists like myself! We will all be joining forces on the 21st of September to cycle for different charities that lie close to our hearts and we need your support! I have chosen to raise money for Survivors' Network based in Brighton as they are an incredible organisation that make a real difference. Survivors' Network aim to reduce sexual violence and it's impact on survivor's lives. They provide help and support every step of the way for people to heal and recover from the experience. The staff and volunteers at Survivors' Network really care and offer vital support in many ways: - The Drop-in service offers a safe space that is welcoming, supportive and non- judgemental. Self-identified female survivors can draw on strength and support from other survivors coming to terms with similar issues. - The ISVA service offers practical and legal support such as reporting to the police, support through the legal process, housing and more. They are incredibly reliable and helpful throughout the whole process which is a long and daunting one. - The Counselling service offers a safe space where you can talk freely and openly in a way that is not often possible with friends or family. These services are a lifeline for many survivors and we must keep on giving so this amazing charity continue their incredible work. Thank you for your donations and let's make change happen! Love, Isa
