Hello!
This year, I happen to be in London for the Hackney Half held on 19 May (soon). It will be a huge community event, and I'm so excited (terrified) and it's going to be lots of fun (very tiring).
So, why bother running so far?
Made in Hackney is an awesome community kitchen, that provides vital skills in cooking, growing and sourcing food. Their mission is to help the community, particularly people in challenging life circumstances, lead healthier, happier more environmentally sustainable lives. I want to run for them!
Friends and family all over the world, a small donation will go along way in helping people access their right to food (yum). Also it will give me a big thumbs up while I do my lovely (painful) training!
