Hi everyone,
Fraser Thompson and myself are aiming to complete the Yorkshire Three peaks challenge on the 8th July. (No joke). We have been training and continue to do so as we have been informed so many times that's it's a tough challenge and that preparation is the key.
We have decided to do this ridiculous challenge to test ourselves to see if we can complete the course within the 12 hour time frame but also to try and raise a small amount of money for charity.
We have chosen to try and support a local charity who provide an invaluable service to the local community and especially families that are affected by Autism.
ZIGZAG is a local Leeds Autism support group that provides essential support and restbite to the families that are affected by Autism. The support that ZIGZAG provide enables families who face the daily challenges of living with an austistic child a little bit of breathing space and that such desperately needed time that they simply do not have.
So please guys, it is an amazing local charity that would benefit so much from any amount of money that myself and Fraser could raise from doing The Three Peaks.
Please please support me and Fraser in our attempt at this challenge by donating anything at all you can. 50p is not too little. We are hoping to get somewhere close to £300 between now and the 8th July.
We, of course, will be extremely grateful and appreciative for any donation towards the cause and cannot reiterate enough that any contribution, no matter how small, would be going to a great cause and every single penny counts.
