Rehoboth is a purpose-built facility in over 10 acres of land which provides a meeting place and stables where our work can be conducted in a quiet, safe, secure environment in beautiful surroundings. Equine Assisted Learning, pottery, crafts, gardening and many other resources will allow us to continue journeying with young people and families through the ups and downs of their lives, encouraging them to make positive life choices/changes.
Why they need our serviceWe have documented evidence of reduction in youth crime, anti-social behaviour and transformed lives as a result of the work JAC does in schools, on the streets, in families and one-to-one mentoring. The financial saving for the Local Authority and national agencies allow them to allocate much needed resources to other community services.
Plan and expected resultsThis is a project to benefit the whole community....... "One of my young people was a serial non-attendee at school but went on to do a successful placement with JAC at the stables, whilst completing an NVQ with Haddon Training." (MH,Reading) "Without JAC, my family would have most definitely fallen apart." (A local mum) "JAC are truly inspirational and they are impacting many lives in our area." (Mr and Mrs B)
