In September, I will be flying out to Budapest to take part in only my second ever half marathon – nearly 2 years on since my first! This time though, I will be running the race in order to raise as much awareness and money as possible to support a brilliant local charity – South Lincolnshire Blind Society. The charity is a major provider of services for blind and partially sighted people and their carers who live in 4 districts around South Lincolnshire. The aim of the charity is to provide the best service possible to ensure blind and partially sighted people can live fuller and more independent lives. SLBS does not receive any government funding meaning they rely on donations and contributions from the local community.

Leading up to the race, I will be promoting this is in my workplace but also across my social media. I would love any support or donations you guys can give towards this! Please give anything you can spare, any amount of money will make a massive difference and go towards helping change someone’s life!
