Anyone who's ever played football will know that the highs are the fitness, the camaraderie, the sport of the physical battle and for the good or lucky ones that get to experience scoring goals well it doesn't get any better.
Unfortunately the lows include cold showers, being sub, day after lactic acid and on this tragic occasion very serious injury.
Jake Foster turned out for Mike Malone's Peeky Blinders team on Sat 20th May for a fun game of togger, He wasn't expecting to end up with his ankle dislocated and a fractured fibula. Poor bugger! His mrs is expecting a baby in August too!
Thanks to the lads that First Aided him so well on the day before the ambulance came.
